# English Quest

> Free English learning adventures for children, with Sentence Structure & Diagramming and Opinion Writing & Essay Structure quests, one shared character and shared rewards.

The homepage is a neutral quest chooser. Each quest has its own real HTML page on the same website. JavaScript is needed to play; linked guides and help pages are readable without JavaScript.

Sentence Structure & Diagramming practices subjects, verbs, direct and indirect objects, complements, prepositional phrases, pronouns, conjunctions, adjectives, adverbs and sentence diagrams. Its three chapters include the Sentence Scrambler, Lord Mumble and the runaway elf chase through Lord Cocowords' finale. Halloween and the five-boss timed challenge are part of this quest.

Opinion Writing & Essay Structure practices opening hooks, opinions and thesis statements, reasons, supporting details, paragraph order and conclusions. It follows the five-paragraph model: an introduction, three body paragraphs and a conclusion. Hook Harbor, Thesis Tower, Paragraph Jungle and Conclusion Castle include learning stages and boss battles. A writing workspace saves the learner's plan and draft in their browser; free writing is not automatically graded.

Profile name, gems, avatar, outfits, pets, badges and daily streak are shared across quests on this origin. Each quest retains its own completed-stage and star counts. Progress and writing remain in the same browser; there are no accounts or cloud saves. Gems and Pumpkin Coins are earned game rewards, not real money.
