How to play Grammar Quest

Grammar Quest is an English grammar adventure you play in your browser. You answer questions about words and sentences to open new parts of the map, earn gems and build your detective's wardrobe.

1. Start your adventure. Press Start, choose a detective name and open the first stage in Verb Village.
2. Read the clue. Each stage introduces a grammar idea. Some puzzles ask you to tap a word; others ask you to choose an answer or sentence diagram.
3. Learn from each answer. Read the explanation after a question, then continue. A mistake is a clue about what to practice next.
4. Explore the map. Pass stages to unlock the next one, and answer correctly in boss battles to open new worlds.

Missed questions go into your Cold Case file and return for practice later. Earn gems through play, collect badges and visit the Closet to customize your detective.
